SSS Karate Team Secured 3rd Position in Nepal

The Karate team of SSS participated in The Fourth Mt. Everest International Karate Championship in Kathmandu of Nepal from 10 to 12 January 2018. The Team of Bangladesh (SSS Karate Team) secured third place in the competition.

Five countries including Bangladesh participated in the fourth Mt. Everest International Karate Championship 2018. Other participating countries were: India, Pakistan, Bhutan and Nepal._dsc5555

The Team Bangladesh left for Nepal on 7 January. The team consists of six participants from SSS-Poura Ideal High School and SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home. They secured 12 prizes, certificates and medals (Four Gold’s and Eight Bronzes medals) in the championship along with Nishu Akter from  SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home securing a Black Belt (Sho Dan) from Shito-Ryu Karate Association of Nepal.

Md. Shafiqul Islam Lablu, Karate instructor of SSS led the Team Bangladesh in Nepal. The team returned to Bangladesh on 15 January 2018.

In a message on 17 January, the Executive Director of SSS Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan congratulated SSS Karate team for their achievement in fourth Mount Everest International Karate Championship.
